Refereeing is a special skill set that requires understanding of The Laws of walking football New Zealand. Walking football New Zealand provides football games for over 50 men and women and the impaired. Therefore, people over 50 are encouraged to apply to become a referee. We encourage mainstream referees with level 1 to 5 to join us. Referees who are looking to referee for the first time we provide training for men and women before they start to referee. We are looking for referees who are willing to train and keen to go to the Walking Football World Cup 2025 in Spain in October.
